Growers We Know
Vanilla is the most labour-intensive crop in the world. Every flower is pollinated by hand, in a window of hours, once a year. The people who do that work are smallholders, and the volatility of the vanilla market has historically fallen hardest on them.
In 2025 Jogue partnered with Sedex to build a more socially and environmentally sustainable supply chain — independent visibility into labour practices and environmental performance at origin, not a self-assessment. Paying properly for that costs more than buying on the spot market. It also means the supply is still there in five years, and the people growing it can plan.
Our long-standing relationships with the world’s top producers date back to Northville Laboratories, the premier vanilla extract supplier since 1910. Some of those growers are now in their fourth generation.
